Beauty is a light in the heart.
Homo Faber is an exhibition in Venice that closes on the 30th of September 2026. This exhibition takes your breath away and brings tears to your eyes because the arts and crafts made by divinely talented humans who come from all corners of the World present their work in the most visually lit and emotive way.
A communion between light and shadows that intriguingly reveal beautifully crafted objects are presented to you whilst the artist hearts flutter with anxiety and pride hoping that they will delight you.
MOON CIRCLE
Imagine a collection of moon like ceramic or glass pieces emerging from a 1960 pool.
The metal circle displayed in a half moon circle cuts the surface of the water in total splendour only to disappear again.
I just saw the images, I was not there in person because if I was visiting Venice I would visit this space until it closes, just to immerse myself in this reverie of curated arts and light.
If I knew before how much I love art I would have gone to University to do a degree in Find Arts , Poetry and Fashion Design.
There is always time to learn from the divine creative humans that create magnificent things for us to experience.
Imagine asking someone what is your job and they say, create illusions with light and shadows. That is the job of the creative director El Devin at Homo Faber.
My work has been in leadership shaping the minds and actions of people of all races and creeds into believing that everything is possible.
It all happened one person at a time. One business idea at a time. One dream at a time. Not my dreams but creating space in my day to coach people and help them reach their dreams.
I guess that shaping minds with kindness is a form of art and virtue.
Interestingly today, I still hold space for global brands but in the International Metallurgical Industry that manufacture and design kitchen sinks.
It is pure poetry to see stainless steel and granite being alchemised into a functional product that until recently was not a fashion item but now it is the centre of your everyday life.
