The longest trip that I would like to take is to visit Jaipur.

The longest trip that I have taken was to Hawaii and I stayed at the Pink Hotel.

The richness of the Jaipur intricate maximalist interiors and architecture is fascinating and so rich.

This style is miles away from the Minimalist and Scandinavian design that I have admired so much and I am certain that should I visit Jaipur the experience can only open my heart and soul to the majestic colour Pink, the colour of love.

Whilst researching for this post I fell in love with the details in pink in palaces and interiors as well as architecture from Morocco, to Barcelona, to Portugal, to the United Kingdom, to France, to Africa and to other parts of Asia.

Pink is a colour that I have always used with restraint because it can be perfectly elegant and classical but it can also become too dominant and overpowering.

The qualities of pink are that there are so many hues of this colour from the palest ballerina pink to the rich pink of jewels.

The use of pink in kitchen cabinets and appliances brings the space pops of colour that can actually suit a farmhouse aesthetic or a beach house style but interestingly enough even a modern kitchen can look romantic with a touch of pink.

The magic of this execution is that you can change the colour of the diffused light or of the wall and create a completely different effect.

The modern Under-mounted sink is just perfect so that you have a clutter free environment to work with.

I really like this idea.

Pink has been a fashion favourite for years and the fabrics can be as simple and beautiful as a pure cotton to a deliciously decadent shimmer of lace and tulles.

Day dreaming about Jaipur took me to another World and what is so special about this is that creativity has infinite power and you can be creative and inspired by faraway lands, their unique environment and their people.

I have not been able to post for two weeks.
