FUTURE PROOF

Simple moves, big wins – that is the game !

The Art of Discipline

Time is by far our biggest asset and the most expensive habit that we humans may have is to waste it.

Time is finite and runs out one second at a time.

Future proof your life

Do you ever feel like you are breathless because you are running out of time?

Slow down.

You don’t have to be the most intelligent person in the room, you don’t have to speak the loudest, you don’t have to work the hardest, you don’t have to impress.

You are enough.

You have enough.

What is enough for you is the most astute benchmark for wealth creation, time management and wellness.

SIMPLE MOVES

Look at everything with new lenses and measure what you do, with whom and for what reason.

I recently evaluated the business of writing stories which is what a lifestyle blog is all about.

Do these stories have a purpose or do they not?

Wasting someone’s time is a sin.

I decided to dig deeper and some of the negative thoughts that surfaced when analysing why I do certain things were quite sobering.

I questioned myself about time invested in writing the blog versus the purpose of making a difference.

What are the metrics that one should use to determine if you are successful in the quantum soup of the internet and AI industry.

How do you measure the impact that these stories make in someone’s life?

Why does it matter ?

Some of the negative thoughts that I had were is this blog just about unsubstantiated street philosophy.

The answer is no.

I follow a code of ethics that are based on the UNESCO guidelines for AI published content and despite the fact that this text is original not AI generated the truth is that I still comply with the codes of inclusivity, respect, accountability and truth.

Why do I use high fashion luxury images in my blogs when in fact my business is about curating EU sinks from EU manufacturers.

Is this perhaps not a significant disconnection.

Not it is not. I curate beauty and aspiration.

The answer is simple kitchen sinks for me are a fashion item and in luxury brands your story must sizzle and there is nothing more refined than couture.

The other thought was why do I use quotes from RUMI, OSHO, KALIL GIBRAN,ERNEST HEMINGWAY, MICHELLE OBAMA, NELSON MANDELA and EINSTEIN when perhaps I should develop my own narratives.

The answer was immediately obvious, because my whole being pays homage to these great minds.

SIMPLE MOVES

Learn from the community of great leaders, philosophers and achievers, designers and manufacturers.

BIG WINS

Future proof with strategic forecasts, design directions and data analytics to plan, design and trade more effectively and sustainably. WGSN

I credit WGSN a phenomenal trend forecasting agency based in London that leads in various sectors using the most sophisticated technology to predict trends that future proof.

The year of 2026 is going to be exciting as consumers want different products and will buy differently based on their new beliefs.

There are at least four new consumer trends narratives for 2026 that will define the year ahead and I will share them with you in my next post.

As I had predicted before there will be new customer wants that are based on a revival of crafts, heritage, classic couture and natural environmental consciousness.

SIMPLE MOVES, BIG WINS

Brands will need to scientifically evaluate each move, adapt and innovate if they want to occupy mind space.
