Immersion into virtual reality (VR) is a perception of being physically present in a non-physical world.

The perception is created by surrounding the user of the VR system with images, sound or other stimuli that provide an engrossing total environment.

Everyone is talking about the metaverse which is a developing platform where Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented reality (AR) create immersive experiences that are not real, that are virtual, where you use text, images or videos as a communication medium with advanced technology and 3D design on which you pay with token-money.

People, please read very carefully what I have just described….is this what quality of life is like in the future?

Artificial intelligence has a place, however, there must be guidelines on how it is used for the well being of human kind.

Are you going to have properties that are images, friends that are strangers .Observe cultures that may be of no value to your neurological system and play with unregulated money.?

The sadest part is that you will be alone, really!.

Be real, see, hear, smell, taste and above all touch the heart and soul of people and animals.

Real life is not virtual it is physical it is not a technological game, it is joy, tears, sacrifice, honour, success, commitment and legacy.

I know what it was like to be in isolation, so do many of you and it certainly helped to have social media and technology but did it replace safe fresh air , no …an embrace, a walk with the dogs, looking at New birds nests…..no it didn’t.

Token money! Another non regulated currency who benefits.. why spend on fiction if you can have sand under your feet, the breeze of Palm trees and Pina colada!

Immersive experiences for me are the taste of sweet honey, the touch of chocolate brown silk, to hear the breath of a new born baby Spaniel,ribbons with flowers, homemade delicious presents of shortbread and the colours, taste and smell of exotic spices

Wow ! so many sensory experiences now add beautiful music for your pleasure.
