No aesthetic just chic choices
Thoughts are like a river, untamed and turbulent some times and peaceful like translucent soft and silent water,other times.
Collect your thoughts as they are miracles that come straight from your soul. They are uniquely yours. Whatever you create it was an idea first conceived in your mind.
Reverence for all living things and paying attention to detail is how I want to collect experiences in my mind. Study and indulge in all aspects of a life well lived is my dream.
Learn how to make pasta in Florence, see how perfume is made in France, Pray at the Vatican, swim in Greece again, learn how to paint my name in Japanese calligraphy, Rescue Dogs , Bath Elephants in India, See the Wild Horses of Namibia,Go to the debutants Ball in Vienna, attend one summer concert in Verona, write letters to Juliette and fall in love in Portugal.
Oh, yes, I also want to learn how to bake artisan bread in France and in Portugal and open an epicure venue where we eat delicious olives, figs, curated meats and of course cheese, my obsession.
Open a place where people can experience the pleasure of food and wine.
Epicurus, a Greek philosopher introduced the theory that pleasure and the absence of pain experienced by our minds it is for the greater good of humans. Epicure is a word that evolved from this philosophy.
We will host artisan cooks and chefs.
We will recite poetry and sell roses in all colours, just roses.
Tea will be served with scones, homemade jam and the best Scottish cream. The cows in Scotland are chocolate box beautiful, I fell in love with them.
We will sell olive oil and figs from Prince Albert, wine from Cape Town and beer from Darling.
A bespoke collection of clothes by South African designers will be unveiled at an event by invitation only.
Some collections will feature vintage lace and silk fabrics.
Refined taste is the universal language of a curated place.
We will celebrate intimate weddings with personalised minimalistic menus.
It is my dream to create a meeting place like this.
I can’t retire I have too much to do, money to earn, and so much knowledge to gain from every single experience.
Every breath I take is a blessing full of gratitude for all the moments that I may still experience.
Less is more has always been my preferred design aesthetic but of course this choice can still be rich in meaning, elegance and intelligence.
