Africa is the most mystical place to go camping in.
The Stars in the Southern Hemisphere shine the brightest when you are watching them lying on your back rolled up in a gorgeous Mungo blanket, manufactured in South Africa.

Star gazing is one of my favourite things to do.
It is so romantic to be able to sit in silence in the Karoo and see how rainbows slice the sky with its multi coloured rays after a brief summer rain.
Visit https://www.princealbertcountrystay.com for a gorgeous stay in this stunning B&B in the Karoo.
You can go and look at the stars on the Swartberg Pass and drink pure water from the cascades.
The best is that there are places that are totally off the grid and you can make a fire and live for a night or two without any noise pollution.

An outside kitchen with beautiful preparation sinks and a fireplace that allows you to cook the most delicious meals is simply the best.

When Portugal and Spain were plunged into darkness yesterday, the 28th of April, 2O25 in an unprecedented and inexplicable electricity outage that caused widespread concern, all I prayed for was that they had the resources, like we do in Africa, to have high tea with beautiful candles on silver candelabra or make a delicious barbecue.
They did exactly that, they cooked on open flames.

Africa teaches us to be magnificent and resourceful.
We have to have the courage to be creative and to respect three of the most powerful resources in order to be successful and they are; time, energy and money.
Simplicity is the most elegant form of conscience frugality.

A simple egg shell can embody such beauty.
Nests in the wild provide such inspiration in our lives.
I love olive trees and figs.
May be it is my Mediterranean heritage that makes me appreciate these beautiful delicious foods.
Enjoy your time on Earth and love every experience.
