PAPER BAG IN THE WIND

Success isn’t about how your life looks to others.
It’s about how it feels to you.

Michelle Obama

When I am not transparent I enter into a total conflict with myself.

Every step that I take feels uncertain and insecure when I act out of character.

It takes great courage and clarity of purpose to live a transparent life that is in harmony with your mind, your heart, your body and your soul.

But here is the pearl of wisdom, if you don’t you will become lost like a paper bag in the wind.

Every part of you becomes disconnected, if you do not live your truth.

The biggest challenge that I face in the next six months is to find true balance between what I dream about and the reality of what I’m living.

I need to focus time and energy on what fulfils me.

Listen to your body because when you experience disease which is lack of ease something is deeply wrong in your life.

Go back and design your chartered course again and again until you find ease.

In relationships with clients it is essential to disclose the details of every deal, every sponsorship,if you have any, every risk and every reward.

That is what transparency means in business.

No games, just pure transparency as this earns you trust and respect.

In the Ten Commandments of lifestyle marketing content one of the most important elements is “Thou Shalt be Transparent “.

Zen philosophies teaches us about declutter ingenuity and balance in your home.

There is a new minimalist trend that I love which is simply to use only hand crafted pieces in your home in well appointed places that are designed to be functional and naturally created.

I have always loved augmenting the value of interior design materials that come from the gnarled hands of artisans by using my writing to honour them. Mosaics from Marrocos, Indigo fabrics from India and China, glass from the Murano Masters, baskets from South Africa,Ethiopia and Kikois from Kenya.

There is a revival of interest in the architectural world for traditional products and UNESCO is protecting some ancient crafts so that they don’t disappear.

It will be interesting for me to research when, how and by whom was the first kitchen sink made.

Everything that is created from an idea is art.

I will remain transparent with everyone and share real stories when I write.

The line paper bag in the wind came out at my first ever coaching session with a young man that practically grew up in my home with my son. Today he is a highly accomplished human being with a degree in archaeology, copy writing and specialises in body and mind wellness through martial arts fusion training in Switzerland.

We both agreed that we wouldn’t waste our lives by walking on Earth aimlessly.

I hope that you will never be like a paper bag in the wind.
