In this short Life
That only lasts an hour
How much - how little -, is
Within our power
EMILY DICKINSON

I am not there
I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond
glints in the snow
I am the sunlight
on ripened grain.
I am the gentle
autumn rain.
when you awaken
in the morning
hush
I am the swift
uplifting rush
of quiet birds in
circled flight.
I am the soft stars
that shine at
night.
Do not stand at my
grave and cry,
I am not there.
I did not die.
poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye (1932)

I lost a dear friend this week and this blog is about celebrating Life.
Live like there is no tomorrow.
Hush and listen to the birds in their circled flight.
Intensity, Love, Curiosity, Adventure, Passion, Courage, Dreams, Ideas are all human emotions that burn under our skin.
Kindness, Generosity, Compassion, Selfless dedication are all values that describe the spirit of my friend.
Live with a higher purpose.
Yes, how much – how little -is,
Within our Power.

We laughed, we traveled, we cooked together at Christmas and we shared innocent stories.
Your daughter will be under my guidance even if she is a young independent woman.
I will welcome a thousand winds when the seasons change and the gentle rain falls.

Ohhhh my God Vicky, you’re so amazing, I really feel thrilled reqding your magnificent words, you make me dream and rralise how small we are and the same time how big can we be. Please enjoy this poem and most of all…… feel it….. In nature’s embrace, I find solace deep,
Where whispered secrets of the Earth seep.
The rustling leaves sing their gentle song,
As the river’s melody rushes along.
Majestic mountains, reaching for the sky,
With peaks that touch the clouds up high.
Sunset hues paint the canvas above,
A masterpiece of colors, a gift of love.
The dance of flowers in the meadow’s breeze,
Their vibrant petals swaying with ease.
Beneath the canopy of a forest’s embrace,
Life’s intricate tapestry finds its place.
From babbling brooks to oceans wide,
Nature’s rhythm, an eternal guide.
It reminds us of our humble part,
To cherish and protect, with all our heart.
For nature’s beauty, a precious treasure,
A reminder of life’s interconnected measure.
In its embrace, we find our roots,
A sanctuary where the soul finds truth.
So let us strive to be nature’s kin,
Preserving its wonders, from deep within.
For in its splendor, we are one,
A harmonious dance under the golden sun.
With love…..
