A LIFE, LIVED WITH A HIGHER PURPOSE IS AN ASPIRATION THAT NOT MANY ACHIEVE
It is impossible to not be moved by the impeccable example that HRH Queen Elizabeth II leaves for the history books and in our hearts.
Seventy years of unwavering dedication and commitment to her Kingdom, her family and the World, is truly remarkable.
She stayed the course,as she promised.
Her Reign was by no means easy, she worked during WWII, she became Queen at a very young age, she married the love of her Life, Prince Philip, a dashingly beautiful aristocrat with whom she had four children.
So, I paused for a moment and thought what insights have I gained from this remarkable woman, why is the World grieving her loss despite the many controversial moments that she had to overcome.
Well, the first insight that I gained was that she was born to reign and she accepted her role from a very young age and learnt that the often difficult duties had to be performed with constancy, balance and not with frivolous displays of vanity or excessive emotion.
She had jewels, gowns, riches and a significant amount of power. She always looked elegant, discreet, comfortable and mentally totally alert about the affairs of the World.
I have always believed that less is more, so that is my mantra, now forever validated by a Queen.

Pearls and broches were Her favourites. The Queen had a personal collection of one hundred pieces.
Constraint in words and in personal style is the legacy. This is another major insight.

She loved her horses and her corgis of which she had thirty in Her Life and she had only 2 corgis and a cocker spaniel, my most favourite breed, when she passed away.
Fascinators,Tiaras and Hats were often worn by the Queen.
The other insight that I gained is that tradition is beautiful. The ceremony and the discipline observed by all in the UK is a brilliant show of utmost accomplishment.
Not sure if most people even understand how men and woman in the UK are so proud of being Buttlers or Palace Garden designers for many generations. They worship their jobs.

Insights give us an opportunity to grow and to continue to aspire to leave behind a legacy.
Talk to you soon,
Farewell HRH.
