
LOVE IS AN EMOTION, IT IS A SUBLIME VIRTUE.
We use this word so often with unconscious abandonment that I decided to research what does it really mean.
The Ancient Greek philosophers identified six forms of love: essentially, familial love (in Greek Storge), platonic love (Philia), romantic love (Eros), self-love (Philautia), guest love (Xenia) and divine love (Agape).
The triangular theory of love suggests “intimacy,passion, commitment”, as core components of love.
The colour wheel theory of love is an idea created by Canadian psychologist John Alan lee that describes six love styles,using several Latin and Greek words.*references Wikipedia *.
Look it up, it is quite an interesting symbol of a triangle whitin a circle.





Anyone that knows me, does know that I have a passion for Spaniels. I love animals.
In the Fashion World, Coco Chanel, is my favourite.The little black dress, affectionately know as LBD transformed the World.
In jewellery, of course, Madame Chanel and Cartier.
I always wondered why LOVE is most often at the centre of the creative arts and, of course, Love has a physical and psychological effect on us that keeps us fascinated. That is why!
Vice on the other hand is not a virtue and is the source of obsessions and vanity.
This blog today is dedicated to my son Paul on his birthday.
He is an amazing human being and I feel proud that he is my child.
Without a doubt he is my best teacher in commitment and love.
