I am an entrepreneur now, for four years and I have learned fast,that despite the fact that a business starts with an idea or a gap in the market, cash flow is of paramount importance even if you have a substantial key client on your portfolio, to start.

I started with no debt, no loans and I strongly recommend that you consider doing the same. Servicing debt is a downward spiral.

Concentrate on net profit and not on revenue.

Your brand style tells the story of who you are and what you do.

Start your business with a brand style that is consistent with your values and why you are in business. Your brand style is an asset that is part of your public equity.

Get a professional brand designer to create your logo, your fonts, your colour pallet and your content must tell the story. Company profile, e-mail signature, presentation deck, manifesto,website and all marketing material must be synchronized for print or for digital platforms.

The products and the services that you offer must be above average. Prices will need to be market related.

Benchmark your business against your direct competition and also against other brands that you admire.

Offer the best customer experience at all times.

I often use luxury brands as my benchmark because they are crafted to perfection and are aspirational.

My other interest is to sell the exceptional products of Tshirtbed.co a highly innovative product manufacturer in Cape Town.

The new activity for 2022 will be to commercialize my website with templates on marketing strategy and business.
