The City of Cape Town is slowly showing the first signs of a very shy spring, in the first tiny green leaves, on the trees. The squirrels are still hiding and the meerkats, in Paternoster, were dashing from one prairie in full bloom to another, oblivious of our presence.
The Western Cape is full of rolling hills of yellow and white wild flowers.
Nature is magnificent!
This winter has been extremely cold with snow on the Swartberg mountains and cold fronts all over South Africa.
The conversations at the coffee shops are all about creativity and master degrees.
Cape Town is the design capital of South Africa.
I have realised why we are here, whispered the boy.
for Cake? asked the mole
” To love” said the boy

My visit to Cape Town was both healing and creative because I had the opportunity to relive great moments and memories that I enjoyed with my late sister Stella, bonded with my son Paul and his amazing wife Karin, spent quality time with dear friends and stared at the sea for hours.
I met Gandalf, a rescue dog that Paul and Karin adopted that is on a long journey to learn, that some people can be trusted without hurting him. There is hope,he loves open spaces.
I love and am loved by people and dogs.
Creativity is all around you in Cape Town and it was inspiring to see that small to medium manufacturing businesses are flourishing. The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well.
A consciousness about the environment and the communities in and around Cape Town is very much part of the business ethos of the local manufacturers.
I met one awesome manufacturer of a most exquisite product for which I am now an agent. Will reveal to you soon something that you will get addicted to. Yes, a new product that is intimate and luxurious and it is not for the kitchen.

Architectural master pieces in buildings and interiors are everywhere with breathtaking views of the sea or the mountains.
The Romance is not gone despite the economic downturn and the new normal lifestyle that we have learned to live with.
There is a new Zoom Economy on the horizon, we need to read the signs and take the first step.
