Just a thought I had today
It is easy for us to fear scarcity simply because on a daily basis we hear about wars,pandemics, isolation,loss and devastating climate changes.
The miracle of life keeps on happening around us despite all of the challenging times.
I was reminded by my son,yesterday, that whilst we were in isolation the animal kingdom proliferated.
I live in South Africa and in the Cape Province, in Simon’s Town, penguins were seen crossing the roads.
A marvellous event!
We were bonding and connecting with our families and friends inside of our homes during lockdown and the penguins were just too happy to expand their horizons.
This is significant because we share our space with amazing animals that need to be protected considering the human World population is now close to 7.9 billion people and we take too much space and use resources excessively.
The Earth is beautiful and it keeps on transforming but at the same time showing signs of stress.
Our minds are beautiful too and we need to strive to do better in order to strike a perfect balance between needs and greed.
Be creative in your kitchen, use fresh produce, support communities that grow organic vegetables in your area.
Use biodegradable products in your kitchen.
Eat nutritious food and bake artisan breads at home.
Glorious fresh fruit is always delicious.
