POETRY

The word Chic has its origins in the French language.

This word was established in English since at least the 1870s.

Chic is an element of fashion.

In fashion, art and music the essence of this law is elimination of what is excessive to arrive at a true sense of style.

Cristobal Balenciaga, as reported in Harper’s Bazaar in 1938 abided by this law of elimination and created fashion that was chic.

Ladies that lunch are as chic today as they ever were.

Entertain at home, arrange exotic flowers, prepare divine gourmet food, cut fresh seasonal fruit and serve, chilled, French Champagne.

Minimal Chic is like poetry to me.

Poetry is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and often rhythmic qualities of language to evoke meanings.

Poetry uses forms and conventions of a language in order to suggest different interpretations through verses and rhythms that will keep you spellbound.

Tell me something girl

Are you happy in this modern World

Or do you need more

Is there something else you are searching for…

Tell me something boy

Aren’t you tired of trying to fill that void

Or do you need more…

Use the restraint and elegance of poetry to create a home that is always ready to receive guests.

Be Chic.

Eliminate what is no longer of use.

Create an atmosphere that is FRESH, RELEVANT & INFORMED.

Talk to you soon,

Have a poetic week.
