RELEVANT

Fear controlled some of my days. Yes, it was totally bewildering to go from freedom to isolation. No Country or human being had ever contemplated a contingency plan of this magnitude. Invisible threat, Global and lethal. We are equal and united in this New World. No color, no gender, no creed, no material wealth, just the lightness of being Human.

I thought that it would be impossible to survive without an income and without being able to meet with existing and new clients. I am an agent for some admirably sustainable sink manufacturers, in the European Union, however, my concern was for the health of all my business partners and for the negative impact on their production schedules and sales. The truth is, we made it, so far. We all, invested our time on a steadfast chartered course, with well defined goals. No time was wasted, established relationships were crucial. We all needed each other. The revelation was that with people on lockdown, homeowners actually used their time and money to renew their homes.

INFORMED

The Economist writes that once the crisis abates, a “productivity boom” could await.

IMF sees the Global economy rebounding to 5,2% growth in 2021. Businesses were forced to shift to remote work, abandon inefficiencies and adopt technological solutions. Office closures could result in job losses, as a result of automation.

The firms that did transform their activities will retain their processes and build on their new ways of doing business. The Economist argues that technological integration won’t just spur the recovery it will yield a more efficient recovery (source CNN Fareed’s Global Briefing).

FRESH

The time that I spent in lockdown, led me to growth and to reinvention.

I spent my time learning all about the digital world and in so doing started my own website, created over 500 posts on Instagram, communicated with people worldwide and followed great wild life photographers, designers, interior decorators, architects and award winning influencers. I created 34 blogs to date. Once a week on a Tuesday.

I became a founder member of Louise Rowland’s Blooming Brand Academy in the UK. Louise is a great asset to have on my side. I now belong to a community of Worldwide online female business owners that are mostly in the creative fields.

I still have a lot to learn; I want to learn all about how to commercialize my site but in the process, I am also opening new neuro paths in my brain, every day, on how to design an online business that allows me to live the Life that I dream of. I love to curate an anthology of images from all the disciplines in the World of Design and Art of Living.

The World is beautiful and there are infinite possibilities to learn from the best.
